Scotia Museum
The newly updated Scotia Museum is a "must see" stop on any tour of Scotia. Through historical artifacts, vintage photos, three-dimensional displays and interactive technology, visitors will see how forestry practices — and Scotia itself — have changed over the last 140 years.

Fisheries Center
Our Fisheries Center, established in 1995, provides visitors with a window into the lives of the native fish that thrive in our streams. An excellent educational opportunity for students and adults, the Fisheries Center features a fascinating variety of fish living in an environment that closely mimics their natural habitat.

High-Tech Sawmill
PALCO's new $25 million state-of-the-art sawmill in Scotia embodies the Company's principle of "working for the future." Utilizing laser beams, computers, and high-tech robotics, the mill ensures the optimum use of each log, reduces waste, and enhances worker safety.

Planer
Opened in 2004, PALCO's new $5 million planer processes rough sawn boards into finished lumber at a rate of 2,000 linear feet per minute, four times faster than older planers. In addition, workers are protected by the planer's mechanized lumber stacking system and hands-free lumber grading.
