At PALCO, we believe that the most important way to achieve leadership in the industry is to have employees who are leaders. To put that principle into action, we developed the PALCO Training Institute.
Designed to help employees become leaders, this voluntary program includes self taught courses, internal and external classes, on-the-job training, and off-site visits so employees can learn how others are doing similar jobs. To complete the program, employees must become proficient in a core set of skills before advancing to the next level. These skill sets include areas such as communication skills, language skills, life skills to handle stress, computer skills, budgeting, environmental awareness, and management and diversity awareness.
PALCO's Training Institute is open to all employees.
