SFI® Program Standards

As a certified participant in the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) Program, we are required to grow and harvest trees on a sustainable basis. In addition, SFI requires us to protect forests and other ecosystems, fish and wildlife, plants, streams, water quality, soils, aesthetics, cultural resources, and forests of exceptional conservation value.

Through our compliance with the standards of SFI Program, we commit to:

• Expanding the practice of sustainable forestry
• Ensuring prompt reforestation
• Protecting water quality
• Enhancing wildlife habitat
• Minimizing the visual impact of harvesting.
• Protecting special sites
• Continuing improvements in wood utilization
• Procuring raw materials only from areas with valid environmental permits
• Protecting Forests of Exceptional Conservation Value.
